Cebu Pacific lends jets to Saudi low-cost carrier

MANILA, Philippines — Cebu Pacific is set to lend its two jets to Saudi Arabian low-cost carrier flyadeal. This comes amid a global supply chain crunch that has been affecting aircraft availability.
On Wednesday, the two airlines signed the wet-lease arrangement for the upcoming summer peak flying season in Saudi Arabia.

Also, the Gokongwei-led airline is looking into leasing aircraft from flyadeal in the future.
“With [our] growing fleet, we seek to maximize the potential of our increased capacity through all months of the year,” Cebu Pacific CEO Mike Szucs said.

The listed company is set to have 100 aircraft in its fleet by the end of the year.
